Another of my second cousin got married.. First was Kak "Bob" (her nickname - not sure of her name though.. hehe), den followed by Abang Sharin, Kak Malini, Kak Shahrinah, Kak Mairan and now Redzwan.. soon in December, another second cousin of mine will be getting hitched..
For those of u who r reading tis and wonder y i mentioned second cousins, well in bahasa melayu, its : saudara 2 pupu. In simple explanation.. >> da above mentioned names of my second cousins, ONE OF THEIR PARENTS (either mum or dad) ARE MY MUM'S CLOSEST COUSINS.. so it is considered tat the children of those closest cousins are not cousins but second cousins.. Faham? Understand?? Neva mind if u dun understand.. Hehe..
I had a fantastic time during the wedding (both Sat n Sun).. Not only during Hari Raya do we got to meet but during family functions and weddings..we still got to meet. Some of those uncles whom I barely knw (but my mum n grandma knw) approached me and start a conversation, " Oh ni Maria.. dah besar eh.. skrg dah darjah berapa?"
Hah!!?? Darjah?? Tat uncle thought tat I am still in primary school!! C'mon lah.. I am 22 already la!! Do I look like a primary sch student.. If he mentioned, "Menengah (secondary)", tak lah kelakar sangat but primary??!! I may look like a student but my body doest look like student.. my body mcm mak org ada lah.. Wahahaha...
I am so elated tat my second niece (Kak Malini's daughter) remembers me.. Wow!! She is already in Primary 1!! She is as cute as ever..  However, her younger bro, Mohd Musyir..still trying to remember me.. Its OK.. Take ur time..
Oh my gosh!! Kak Mairan's baby is so damn cute.. He was born on 3rd January 2006.. Welcome to da world, Baby Zulfikar!!

Waduh!! Baru separuh tau ahli kaum keluarga, saudara-mara, sepupu Mak Kiah..pelamin dah "hampir" roboh!! NASIB BAIK YG SEPARUH TU DAH BALIK..KALAU TAK TENTU PELAMIN NI AKAN ROBOH DAN KALAU NAK LETAK DUA PELAMIN PUN TAK CUKUP..WAHAHAHA..
Ahli keluarga yg tiada di gambar: Uncle Salam (his wife is in da pic) - kids: Abang Shahrin n wife n 3 kids, Kak Shahrinah n husband and 1 kid, and Rizal (didnt realize tat he was my PRIMARY SCHOOL SENIOR!!! - no wonder i found him very familiar!), Uncle Mail (wife is in da pic) - kids: Abang Imran and Mazurah. Kak Mairan n husband was at da wedding but cannot even go up to the pelamin to take photo!! Haha. Then also not in da pic: My grandfather, My parents, my younger siblings, Mak Long & Pak Long (Abdillah n Nadiah didnt attend da wedding), Pak Ngah & Cik Ana with Kamaliah, Haziyah n Haniff, Kak Juliza (younger sis of Kak Malini and elder sis of Nalita - Mak Biah's second daughter. Mak Biah is Salbiah binte Haji Abdul Karim, elder sis of Rokiah - also my mum's closest cousin), Aunt Ayu, Aunt Masturah with husband and 2 kids (3rd one coming), Aunt Leha with husband and 2 sons (2nd son is in USA - taking his degree!!! Yeah!!), Uncle Rahman and wife and 4 sons and finally Uncle Kamal with wife and 3 daughters! ( a total of = 50!!) Wow!!! Wahaha..
NEXT STOP: BEDOK RESERVOIR ROAD!!

We, the family of Archives Conservation Lab(ACL) celebrated Po Yee's birthday which happens to be her farewell too as she will be leaving ACL for another job. Kinda sad not to have her around. she is very enjoyable to talk too.. but we will still be in contact for sure..

Today, our After Lunch ActivitY, we went to Singapore Philatelic Musuem.
Singapore Philatelic Musuem
The Singapore Philatelic Museum (SPM) is Singapore's only museum devoted to philately. It promotes the appreciation of Singapore’s philatelic materials.
Besides its permanent exhibitions, the museum features thematic galleries that cover a wide-range of interesting current topics. These include displays from the private collections of renowned philatelists, travelling exhibitions from overseas and commemorative exhibitions for new stamp issues.

tat is one day fans of BSB will not forget. BACKSTREET BOYS CONCERT!!!!
BACKSTREET BOYS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AFTER 10 FREAKIN YEARSSSSSSSSSSS YO!!!!
I heard frm Ayu, Dira and Liza, it was totally awesome!!! insaneeeeeeeeeee!! Exhilarating! It was a titillating, radical, breath-taking, out of tis world, surreal event...OUT OF THE WORLD !!!
Wat I read frm Shirin's blog was a lil bewilderement going on. Monday (23 January - BSB arrives in SINGAPORE!!)
She and 2 of her friends, found out which Terminal and belt da boys will be at and rushed to Terminal 1 at Belt 22 and by da looks of da barricades and lil girls, they knew they were at da right place..
Den, a girl approached them and told them tat her friend,May and Choy frm MTV, told her to go to Terminal 3 to see da boys.. so they were like "wtf? terminal 3?".. but because their intentions were to see da guys, they tried their luck. Shirin took off her slippers, took da skytrain to Terminal 2 and asked for directions to Terminal 3 and of coz all them were like, "Terminal 3? u can't go there. it's not opened yet"... tat girl, Ivy, looked at her sms again and showed them and it said "go to viewing gallery at level 3". the ran back to skytrain to Terminal 1 and went to da viewing gallery and there was a stage with a huge background with da boys on it and "Changi Airport welcomes BSB...."
Shirin and friends went fuckingly WILD!! Da guys were not even there yet. Hmm, I am pretty sure Ayu, Liza and Dira too.. Haha..
So they waited frm 4.30 to 5.30 and den da fans got wild! screaming! shrieking! whatever! They screamed, took pics and den ran back to Belt 22 and waited for da guys behind da barricades. den, Ayu told me, "We heard "NICK! KEVIN!BRIAN!HOWIE!AJ! I LOVE YOU!"
Insane!!! Insane!!! Y? Coz all hands trying to just grab a hold of da boys!!! security was insane so touching the boys was almost out of the question
Ayu bought a cake for Nick, whose birthday's today >> 28 January!!! It was kinda of early birthday cake for him and Ayu passed da cake to da security. She said to da security guard, "If u dare eat tis, I swear u're gonna get food poisoning!!" 
Tues, (24 January 2006) was of coz the concert..
They moved to da beat of their songs, singing along, and cheering some more.

Today after lunch, as usual..our after lunch activity!!! So we decided to hop by to Central Fire Station to view the Gallery of Civil Defence.. Since we are working at National Archives of Singapore, which is 2 buildings away frm Central Fire Station..so y not?

Eddie Guerrero 1967-2005
|
|
A great WWE superstar passed away one month ago >> November 13, 2005. He was one of the best in sports entertainment because he loves to make people around him, feel very comfortable n most importantly to laugh n smile.
WWE superstars and the world were saddened abt Eddie’s death. It was an unexpected death; he was found unconscious in a hotel’s bathroom by his nephew >> Chavo Guerrero Jr, also a WWE superstar.
Since my family subscribed to Starhub Cable TV, every Wed n Thur nights without fail, my bro, me, my mum n my grandma will sit by the TV to watch our fav superstars in action.
On 7th December (WED), which happens to be my birthday, we watched RAW.. All superstars frm RAW n Smackdown came to RAW to honour a one-minute of silent to for Eddie Guerrero..
All the fans cried. Some of the WWE superstars cried. I can remember >> Kurt Angle, Rey Mysterio, Triple H, Batista, Shelton Benjamin, Chavo himself, Chris Benoit.. They cried..
Me, being emotional.. cried as well.. I simply couldn’t stop my tears frm flowing down my cheeks.. Watching them cried, shows that they love Eddie and cared for Eddie.. it was juz too sad.
